Why Erosion Control Comes First

Bare graded dirt with no protection washes straight into the storm drain during a Central Texas downpour, and any site disturbing an acre or more is required to run a SWPPP under the NPDES construction permit. We set the controls before the first heavy cell arrives, not after mud is already moving. That keeps your project inside the rules and keeps your fresh grade where we put it.

Our Process

We map how water moves across the lot, then grade slopes and swales to route it safely. French drains and detention features handle the low spots. Silt fence goes along the down-slope edges, inlet protection guards the storm drains, and erosion blankets hold seed on steep cuts. Everything is timed to be in place ahead of the forecast off the Balcones Escarpment.
